RIFT Database finally launched

Rift Database is finally launched! Database is finally out now for Rift Players thanks to Zam for hosting. Now have a reliable source / database of info we need for RIFT as Zam Launches Rift Database.


We can now have the access with a complete inventory of every player discovered weapon, armor piece, item, recipe, and collection in the game. With their newest Rift Zap Update, Rift Zam released latest batch of game data and update their database.

This includes 3726 Items, 60 Quests, 174 NPCs, and 79 Recipes. That’s a huge update providing what we need and they make sure that Rift Zam is our one stop shop or just like WoWHead - database for WoW.

Its easy for us to now to make a plan or strategy with our equips, professions and talent tree with our toons.

WoW News: BattleGround AFK and Botters are Now Out!

Last Monday when someone reported about AFKers and Botters in battlegrounds coz it seems the report button to remove the player outside the BG is not functioning. And early this morning Bashiok replied to the report and now they are in action.

They are now detecting and tracking their logs for players that are misbehaving. If someone got caught they removing the earned items, honor points and the worst will be banning of accounts. LOL

“I just did Battle for Gilnes, 10 v 10 bg. we had 2 people who were afk and one who was a bot that mounted and ran forward.
I reported all 3 along with another two people in the bg and they were never removed. They never entered combat they stayed inside the ship where you enter the battleground. Blizzard needs to make something to counteract this. Id like a blue post on here please because you cant win 7 v 10.” Resarcio Said

We’re in the process of stepping up our detection and tracking to log and action players that are botting, or habitually AFKing in the Battlegrounds. We’ll be taking aggressive action and removing earned items, Honor Points, and ultimately suspending or even banning accounts of those that are found to be botting or habitually AFKing. It’s a sophisticated level of monitoring we’re undertaking. No one actively playing in the Battlegrounds normally should be concerned that they’ll be actioned.” Bashiok Replied

Rift Release: March 01, 2011, marked the official North America launch date for Trion Worlds' Rift : did they take this chance to show everyone how a real MMO launch is done? Yesterday marked the official North American launch date of Trion Worlds ' highly anticipated MMORPG, Rift, and I may admit that I was waiting for those rift server list opening times with a little bit of fear.

World of Warcraft Scents

The Scent Science Corporation is currently working on a product called the ScentScape which will release the smells of videogaming into the air. When plugged into a gaming device, it'll use its internal scent wells to make gamers think they're actually in a game, through their noses. The device is first design for PC first and soon to be launch in consoles too.


Until now, no gaming company confirmed this new accessories but World of Warcraft is at the top of their list they want to apply this accessories that will be launch on last quarter of the year.

DCUO first patch goes live!

Players have been anxiously awaiting the promised monthly patch from DC Universe Online, and tomorrow it will be here. Sony Online Entertainment has released DCUO's complete patch notes on the game forums, and boy, do they have a lot to say. At a glance, it appears that every power set and weapon type has been adjusted, but that's not the reason most people want to read through these notes.

The very top of the notes displays the new content we can expect to find when we log in Tuesday morning. The Dark Knight opens the Batcave for an eight-man raid; Catwoman leads heroes and villains on a chase across the rooftops of Gotham; and Aphrodite needs super-powered humans to help her resolve the battle between devotion and scorn. However, the change most anticipated by players has to be in the social and chat systems. Although most of the UI changes are a bit vague -- "Improved the layout of Voice Chat options on the Social UI" -- certain items like "Pressing '/' (forward slash) on the keyboard will now open quick chat mode and automatically add a slash to the text field" may be specific enough to satisfy players.

Exclusive Theme Park for WoW and Starcraft

Reports have begun to spread that a new theme park is being developed for China called JoyLand. But since there is no photos of actual construction, I’m a bit skeptical about the whole project. According to the official website, the new park will feature lavish World of Warcraft and StarCraft themed areas, and that the park is planning to open in May 2011. At this point in time there should be a lot of photos of construction, something I couldn’t find anywhere online. And why wouldn’t Blizzard have mentioned this licensing opportunity at one of their past Blizzcon gaming conventions?
