WoW: Cataclysm Release Date (Rumor)

Amazon sent out an email today to World of Warcraft: Cataclysm pre-order customers. The email claims that the game will be released on November 23rd.

As WoW Insider notes, Amazon's release dates aren't always ironclad. They may just be guessing based on the fact that November 23rd is the sixth year anniversary of WoW's launch. It would be a nice release date for the expansion, though, as it's right before a long holiday weekend here in the States.
MMO Champion claimed earlier this month that the release date is November 2nd. As they noted at the time, though, Blizzard could very well push this date back. Cataclysm is currently in closed beta while Patch 4.0, the update that paves the way for the expansion, is on the public test realm. The release date will perhaps come down to how smoothly the testing proceeds.

SteelSeries Shift Gaming Keyboard: Perfect For Micro-ing Your WoW Skills

As i run through thru the net looking for a better gaming keyboard that I'm using i found this one, SteelSeries Shift Gaming Keyboard. This really suits my gaming needs specially with micro-ing WoW Skills, that in just one click you have your set of WoW Skills done.

I'm amaze on how many can program / settings you can set / store.. ZILLIONS of programmable macro keys. WTF!

Built upon the Zboard, the SteelSeries Shift isn't just another gaming keyboard with zillions of programmable macro keys. It successfully distinguishes itself from the others with its revolutionary interchangeable game keysets. In a nut shell, the Shift allows you to swap out the standard keyset with one tailor-made for your game - that is, if SteelSeries licenses the right from the publisher. The original Zboard already has a large fan following; you can find themed keysets for triple A titles including Aion, Battlefield 1942, Doom 3, StarCraft 2 and World of Warcraft. Having said that, it makes sense for SteelSeries to make a successor.

Besides the interchangeable keysets, the SteelSeries Shift is now much more solid which now can endure up to 15 million keystrokes per key. The company thoughtfully fine-tuned some keys requiring you to use less force than other keys. The media controls for example will require you to apply more pressure on them. Should you want to customize the macros yourself, the Shift has 3 layers of on-the-fly macros which you can record onto the keyboard itself. At the same time, the Shift can even record your timing of the keystrokes. Last but not least are the USB audio and 2-port USB hub. The SteelSeries Shift is available now for $89.99.

Medal of Honor: Multiplayer Open Beta Starting Up on October 04

EA announced the PC open multiplayer beta for Medal of Honor will begin on October 4 worldwide.

The beta includes two modes and two maps. The Kunar Base map includes the Sector Control multiplayer mode where the two sides fight to control sector points. Shahikot Mountains map includes the Combat Mission mode where players battle through a series of objectives against the enemy.

Both maps feature 12 vs. 12 player limits for a total of 24.

"We also hope that by offering the Multiplayer Open Beta, we can clear up any misunderstanding about the patriotism and respect that are the foundation of this game," said Frank Gibeau, President of EA Games Label.

"The Medal of Honor franchise has always shown extraordinary reverence for American and Allied soldiers -- this game is no exception."

In June, EA began the closed beta test of the game, where developer DICE has already made numerous fixes and updates, including changes to the weapons pick-up system, hit detection mechanics, an expanded and balanced unlock tree, and many others.

Medal of Honor hits retail on October 12, 2010 in North America and October 15 in Europe for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.

35 Year Old Woman Charged With Seducing Minor Of 15 Year Old

Angie L. Jenkins may find herself stuck in a dungeon of sorts after having sex with a minor that she met through World of Warcraft.

Romance in World of Warcraft is nothing new. Plenty of like-minded gamers have dated, fallen in love, and gotten married after meeting in this fantasy world. However, not all of these stories have happy endings. For Angie L. Jenkins, one such romance ended with felony charges after she drove across the country to sleep with a sixteen-year-old that she met through the online game.

Jenkins - who presumably isn't related to the Leeroy Jenkins that made internet history a few years back - started chatting with the teenager last year. She told him that she was 21, when she was actually 35, and he told her that he was 20.
From there, the relationship moved from the internet to phone conversations, finally culminating in a cross-country trip to Amherst, New York, where the pair had sex in a parking lot. By this point, Jenkins was well-aware of the teenager's real age, but had decided to pursue the relationship regardless.

While the question of how the authorities got involved remains unanswered, the case eventually made its way to the FBI. One subpoena later, Jenkins found herself indicted for the charge of "using the Internet to entice an underage person into sexual activity."

Jenkins, who has been married twice and has five children, is believed to be the first woman to be charged with this crime in western New York.

For all of you kids out there playing World of Warcraft, be vigilant. That cute Night Elf that is totally into you may actually be a mother in her mid-thirties. You probably shouldn't meet them in a parking lot.

Remote Auction House Service at WoW Mobile Armory

Source: joystiq.com

The newest version of the World of Warcraft Mobile Armory has been released on iTunes, featuring a 3-D model viewer for all characters, activity feeds similar to the ones on the web version of the armory, and optimizations for Apple's iOS 4.0.

Included in the update is a cool feature called screenshot mode, allowing you to take cool pictures of your characters in front of lots of backdrops, including the racial capital cities. The screenshot mode will even remove all of the interface elements from the phone, giving you a clean shot.

This update could be laying the groundwork for the newly revealed mobile guild chat service available through the armory app, potentially unlocked in the near future for subscribers to Blizzard's
Remote Auction House service. Hopefully, more light will be shed on this functionality in the near future. Until then, get updating, because these new features are pretty neat. Previously, I would have had to bookmark the armory's RSS feed for my characters and open them in Safari on the iPhone, but with the new activity feeds built right into the armory app, things have gotten a lot less clunky. Well I do hope buying wow gold cheap adopt this application for easy and fastest buying of World of Warcraft Gold.

Game Updates: Plants VS Zombie at WOW: Cataclysm

PopCap brought WoW into Peggle last year and now Blizzard made a response to PopCap. They just added something that you are quite familiar with into the Beta server of Cataclysm, a Plants VS Zombies-like mini-game. Check out the video below. You surely don't want to miss the quest that can be found in the Hillsbrad Foothills.

Great changes will be seen in Azeroth in Cataclysm, but do you think this is one of the great changes? It's actually a series of quests, where you can unlock different plants like peashooter and sunflower as you go on. You can get EXP, gears, and a sunflower pet as rewards from the quests.
